CENCIA is pleased to partner with the Georgia State University Confucius Institute in celebrating the first anniversary of the dedication of the Institute!   A performance of chamber music by members of the Renmin University School of Music in Beijing, China will be the highlight of the celebration. 

Leading the Faculty Chamber Ensemble from China is Frank Ge (Yang Gefang), Professor of Violin, Chamber Music at Renmin University.  He was 1st violinist of the world prize winning Alexander String Quartet from 1992-2002 before joining the faculty at Renmin.  This performance will be part of an American tour with other performances scheduled at the Eastman School of Music, the University of Colorado at Boulder and Michigan State University. 

Joining Mr. Ge will be Associate Director and Professor Wang Mei, Professor of violin Chen Xiaowei, Professor of viola Qi Yue, Professor of cello Wang Ying and Professor of piano Zhang Fang.
